I learned to play guitar and piano as a kid and have been involved in bands and sessions all along since my youth.

Highlights to date have been my participation in the recording of the Townes van Zandt album, “No Deeper Blue” which Philip Donnelly produced; recording with The Café Orchestra, recording with Chris Meehan, recording and arranging with singer Fiona Tyndall, playing various celtic festivals with the East Galway based 9-piece band “Furry Village”; recording 2 albums with “Reeltime” during the ’90’s; playing with the Máirín Fahy Band for international and local concerts whenever required; playing and singing in the show “Trad on the Prom”, an Irish cultural song and dance show now heading into its 12th season in summer 2016.

Currently enjoying songwriting, producing tracks for others, writing arrangements, improving my playing of bouzouki and high-string guitars, experimenting with new guitar tunings, all of which feeds into my recordings and sessions.
